Even now as I’m writing this almost 5 years later, this still stands out as one of my absolute all time favorite Haiti memories.
It was May of 2015 – Jim Cain, Jeff Crisp, Frank Rogers and I were with JT and Bwa in Chambellan, having dinner in the home of Jeriel, the preacher there. As we’re finishing eating, JT spontaneously starts singing something or other – and within moments the tiny house is filled with people who wanted to come in and sing with us.
These two videos really take me right back to that moment in time – songs include: Wonderful Merciful Savior (in Creole); Take it to the Lord In Prayer (in Creole); AND Sou Bwa Kalve (one of our team favorites – this was when I really fell in love with that song).
