“I am delighted to express my appreciation to you for your fellowship in the Gospel. Your prayers and support are a great source of encouragement to me, and to all the Christians in Haiti. I just want to take a certain time out in order to share with you some great news in the kingdom of God in Haiti.

“Preachers’ Training School:  Since January our students have formed evangelistic teams to address the needs of many churches in terms of preaching. We have organized 7 gospel meetings from Port-au-Prince to the villages, and we plan to organize more campaigns throughout the spring and summer months.  There have been 91 baptisms so far this year, along with 255 people who rededicated their life to Christ.

“Hurricane Recovery:  In October 2016 Hurricane Mathew hit Haiti so bad with the worst Hurricane in 50 years. In the greater southern area, some of our schools and churches were completely destroyed. We thank you brethren for responding so quickly to restore God’s glory in the area. We went 3 times with food, medicine, first aid products, and construction materials. 3 teams of workers have worked on the structures. The Mayor of Chambellan and other government representatives are expressing great admiration for the churches of Christ, and the people of southern Haiti have their eyes on us, as challenges – hunger, rain, sickness – continue to afflict them. We anticipate great things will happen in the near future.  Let us continue to pray for the work of Haiti.”
