The photo above may be my favorite from the week – it’s a little girl from Bout Savane, where we – finally! – completed the well-drilling project last summer. As we arrived there this week we were greeted by ~200 school children, applauding us enthusiastically for bringing safe water to their village.
A few other highlights from the week:
9 baptisms – 2 at Carissade, and 7 at St. Michel
Spending time at the St. Michel School and Orphanage
Teaching at Delmas Christian University, which we started in 2014 – we’ll have 36 students graduating in December with Baccalaureate degrees in Theology, Biblical Studies, and Practical Ministry. JT says the graduation service is going to be a “really big deal” in Port-au-Prince, and there will likely be 2000+ in attendance, including many high-level government officials.
