From JT – Baptisms, Gospel Meetings, Preachers’ Training School – February 2020

Sharing Christ in perilous times in Haiti:  God is good, as we like to say – not some of the times, but all the times.  God is so good to us that we want to tell the world that we are blessed.  When we consider what is happening in our midst as a nation we can truly say that the good Lord is still on his throne.

Haiti has been experiencing a very difficult time, shaking the country from its foundation.  In the midst of all this we are blessed, and able to comfort our people and bring hope to those in despair.  This report comes a little bit late because of a certain eye trouble attacking my vision; I am scheduled to see my doctor soon to see what is wrong with my eyesight.

Highlights of activities:  The year 2019 permitted us to make some good accomplishments in the vineyard of our Lord.

  • We conducted 6 gospel meetings, resulting in 136 baptisms
  • We established 3 new churches:  Passé Bonbon (50 members); Zaboca (80 members); and Thomonde (55 members)
  • We are proud of our School of Preaching, which will graduate it’s second class of students – 51 total – in December 2021
  • Just this past month we held a camp meeting at the Dubuisson Church of Christ – there were 300-400 participants each night, and a total of 5 more baptisms

I am thankful to God for my longevity in His Kingdom. Some of my friends think that I am a young man; sometimes I try to think that too. The truth is, JT is a senior citizen with 43 years since my conversion and 34 years in full-time ministry.  I press on to reach the goal, thanks to my supporters and friends.

Mèsi anpil – thank you very much,

Jeantyrard Elmera, Minister
