Disaster relief efforts for the flood victims in Western North Carolina are being staged out of the Central Haywood Church of Christ in Clyde, NC (near Canton). Our contacts there say, “Over 500 families are out of their homes, 5 people have died, and 1 is still missing. PLEASE consider volunteering your time to help these families. With disasters in so many states right now, North Carolina is basically out of the news but THEY DESPERATELY NEED OUR HELP!”

Since the NC spot is so close – about a 90 min drive – I’m going to plan on going back and forth as many days as I can, just not sure which days yet – please email or message me if you have any interest in carpooling, or would just like further information.
