Orphanage Construction Moving Forward

Construction of Housing for the St. Michel Orphanage:  Finally Moving Forward Again!

JT called me just a few minutes ago to tell me he’s got a crew headed up to St. Michel today to get things moving forward with the construction project – the goal is to have new housing facilities completed, and the children moved out of the school house, by the start of this coming school year in September.

(Currently, all 35 children are living in transitional housing set up in two small classrooms at the St. Michel Church of Christ’s Elementary School.  The Haiti Fund purchased land for new orphanage facilities in 2016, and we’ve been working ever since then to get permanent housing built for the children.)

Shameless plug:  The total projected costs are a bit higher than what we actually have on hand right now, so if any of you would like to chip in at all that would definitely be greatly appreciated!
