Remembering Carl Lancaster

Even though the St. Michel Orphanage is not quite completed yet, The Haiti Fund Board of Directors wanted to go ahead and formally announce that we are dedicating the new orphanage facilities to the memory of Carl Lancaster.

For all of you who knew Carl I think you’d agree, he was a tremendous inspiration, mentor, and role model to so, so many of us.

Even though Carl never had a chance to make it to St. Michel, he did make a number of trips to Haiti with us, and his spirit certainly lives on in everything we do there (and as many of you know, JT was extremely fond of Carl).

Would LOVE it if each of you would go to where I’ve posted this on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100002313532266) and post your favorite Carl memory – or memories – in the Comments section.

Also…the latest photos of the orphanage construction:

(Man, these are some hard working folks – don’t know if you can tell from the photo above, but these guys are mixing concrete by hand and then hauling buckets full of wet concrete up to the roof)

As always, many thanks to all of you for your ongoing prayers and support of our efforts to serve our Christian brothers and sisters in Haiti.
