Wanted to share a few photos from last week’s Haiti trip (a few of these I had posted on Facebook, but most of them I had not)…
In addition to the photo above, a few more shots of the children who come out to the guest house in the afternoon:
The view off the roof of the guest house at sunset:
Sunday morning in the village of Don Don – Jason preaching…
…and me leading a few songs:
Monday morning, walking through the village of Grand Bassin, accompanied by our usual entourage of curious children:
Jim, Jason and I sharing a simple gospel message with a group of non-Christians who had gathered at the preacher’s house to hear us speak:
Our gracious hostess for the day, cooking lunch for about 3 dozen people – as many of you have seen before, this is a pretty typical Haiti “kitchen”:
Tuesday morning in the village of Derac – again, a pretty good crowd had come out to hear the three of us share a simple gospel message:
Wouldn’t be a Haiti trip without at least one flat tire…
…and a few random goats!
Our final day of preaching – this time in the village of Dumas at the “open air gazebo” church that was started by our new friend Sonel (who was also our driver and translator for the week):
All in all a great week, and I think Jason, Jim and I all felt very blessed and thankful to be back in Haiti again – thank you SO MUCH for your prayers over this trip – it means more to us than you can possibly imagine to feel your love and presence with us every step of the way on these trips!
