As you probably caught from my previous posts, one of the things we were able to do on last month’s Haiti trip – thanks to the immense generosity of so many of you – was to distribute some basic food staples in a few of the poorest villages that have been hardest hit by the current famine conditions in Haiti.
(In case you hadn’t caught this before – Haiti is one of only 5 countries in the world currently experiencing true famine conditions, the other 4 being Ethiopia, Somalia, South Sudan, and Afghanistan.)
We would love to be able to do more of this on our July trip (with Jeff & Cindy Payne and Louis Meilinger), but our ability to do this hinges solely on funding, so I’d appreciate it greatly if you’d consider helping us out with this. Our goal is to raise $3000 to go toward food distribution – any amount at all you’d be willing to give will definitely make a difference, and definitely have an impact.
