As most of you know by now, Jeff & Cindy Payne, Louis Meilinger and I were in Haiti July 11-19 – wanted to share a few photos from our trip…
(The photo above was taken by Louis off the roof of the Guest House we stay at – it is SUCH a huge blessing to have an incredible place like this to stage all our activities out of!)
Cindy teaching a girls’ class in the village of Dumas:
Jeff and Cindy teaching a group of first-year preaching students at the CBT (Center for Biblical Training) in Cap Haitien:
Jeff, Cindy and Louis sharing a simple gospel message with several groups of non-Christians on our second visit to Dumas:
Jeff and Louis, helping us distribute food staples to a group of elderly widows in the village of Fort Liberte (and thank you SO much to all of you who provided funding for this project!):
Jeff teaching a group of 30+ ministers in the village of St Michel (and me saying a few words of encouragement to the men):
Cindy teaching a women’s class in St. Michel:
Jeff preaching in the village of Bout Savane (I’m pretty sure Jeff is a closet Pentecostal 😊) – for all our previous team members, that’s our friend Fefe translating for Jeff:
Probably my favorite picture of Cindy from the week – teaching a song to the children at the St. Michel Orphanage (our orphanage in Haiti that we our the sole supporters of):
This picture just makes me happy – walking into the St Michel church building Sunday morning – stunning blue Caribbean sky, golden morning sunshine, all the bright colors – and the anticipation of the singing that you know will be absolutely transcendent:
Several hundred were in attendance to hear Jeff preach in St Michel:
A pretty big crowd – INCLUDING THE MAYOR OF ST MICHEL AND HER BODYGUARD ! – also came out to hear Louis preach Sunday night:
Jeff and Louis speaking to a group in the village of Dondon:
Jeff, Cindy and Louis preaching and teaching in the village of Birel:
The four of us are incredibly grateful for all your prayers both before and during our trip, and we’re incredibly grateful for your love, your encouragement, and for all the many ways you support our ministry efforts in Haiti.
