Annual Financial Report – 2023
Thought some of you might be interested in this – just got done filing the annual statements for The Haiti Fund required by the IRS and the SC Secretary of State – here’s how the 2023 financials broke down, as far as what percentage of our funding went to what costs:
- 45.8% – Various ministries at the St Michel Orphanage (29.7% Continued construction and improvements on the new orphanage facilities; 9.9% Helping with the costs of feeding the children; 3.8% Clothing, shoes, backpacks, and school supplies for the children; 1.5% Truck repairs; 0.9% Christmas presents and Christmas dinner for the children)
- 24.6% – Expenses for conducting our various ministry activities on three different mission trips *
- 11.7% – Food distribution in remote areas hit hardest by the current famine conditions
- 10.5% – First Time Haiti Traveler assistance **
- 2.8% – Improvements on the school building in the village of Dumas
- 1.8% – French and Creole Bibles to distribute in some of the poorest congregations
- 1.5% – Crisis assistance and disaster relief
- 0.8% – Preaching seminars conducted in remote mountain regions where no other training is available
So that’s a total of 99.5% that went directly to our mission projects.
The total for all administrative costs*** was only 0.5%, which includes wire transfer fees; website hosting and annual domain registration; annual filing fees with the SC Secretary of State’s Office; PayPal credit card processing fees; office supplies; printing; and postage.

All contributions to The Haiti Fund are used only for the purpose which the donor has earmarked them for.
