Annual Financial Report – 2024

Thought some of you might be interested in this – just got done filing the annual statements for The Haiti Fund required by the IRS and the SC Secretary of State – here’s how the 2024 financials broke down, as far as what percentage of our funding went to what costs:

  • 48.3% – Various ministries at the St Michel Orphanage (17.0% – Helping with the costs of feeding the children; 15.5% – Continued construction and improvements on the new orphanage facilities; 10.7% – Clothing, shoes, backpacks, and school supplies for the children; 3.6% – Truck repairs; 1.5% – Christmas presents and Christmas dinner for the children)
  • 23.8% – Well drilling project for the village of Birel
  • 22.3% – Disaster relief and crisis assistance (10.7% – Replacing the roof at the Bout Savane School building; 7.7% – Famine assistance and food distribution in the poorest northern villages; 3.9% – Various other humanitarian needs)
  • 4.6% – Advance expenses for conducting various ministry activities on 2025 mission trips *

So that’s a total of 99% that went directly to our mission projects.

The total for all administrative costs** was only 1%, which includes wire transfer fees; website hosting and annual domain registration; PayPal credit card processing fees; annual filing fees with the SC Secretary of State’s Office; office supplies; printing; and postage.

          • * Funding earmarked by the donors for this specific purpose.
          • ** All administrative costs are paid for by Haiti Fund Board Members – none of it comes out of your donations.

All contributions to The Haiti Fund are used only for the purpose which the donor has earmarked them for.
