In July of 2015 we went back to Haiti for another 1-week trip – there were 24 of us this time, which is the biggest team we’ve ever had.
It was also the most ambitious schedule we’ve ever tried to pull off!
Over the course of the week we worked with about 800-and-some elementary age children in 10 different villages…
…including some remote areas that only a couple of us had ever been to before.
One of the very cool things from this trip: On Monday we got to spend a few hours at a place called Verettes, where one of our preaching students named Zachary is now ministering full time. This particular church was just started in February when a group of our preaching students did a series of gospel meetings there, and baptized 8 people.
Since then, the church has grown to over 100 members, including 6 people who were baptized on the Sunday we arrived in Haiti.
Whenever we do one of these trips our primary focus is evangelism, so in the evenings we did gospel meeting services in all these different places.
Over a 6 day stretch of time there were a total of 26 baptisms.
