Annual Financial Report – 2019

Thought some of you might be interested in this – just got done filing the annual statements for The Haiti Fund required by the IRS and the SC Secretary of State – here’s how the 2019 financials broke down, as far as what percentage of our funding went to what costs:

32.0% – Drilling a well and installing a security gate at the new property for the St. Michel Orphanage.

17.7% – Funding for medical clinics in Haiti.

17.3% – Operational expenses for Delmas Christian University (our Preachers’ Training School)

16.2% – Food for the children at the St. Michel Orphanage.

8.8% – Funding for projects conducted on our two mission trips.

6.6% – Crisis relief for the churches in St. Michel and Chambellan – food and medical assistance following the riots and political unrest in 2019.

So that’s a total of 98.6% that went directly to our mission projects.

The total for all administrative costs* was only 1.4%, which includes wire transfer fees; website hosting and annual domain registration; annual filing fees with the SC Secretary of State’s Office; PayPal credit card processing fees; international phone service; office supplies; printing; and postage.

* Note that all administrative costs are paid for by Haiti Fund Board Members – none of it come out of your donations.
