James Exais, pictured above with his wife, is another of our December 2017 graduates from the Preachers’ Training School. James serves as the sole minister for the Church of Christ in Croix des Bouquets, a Port-au-Prince suburb about 5 miles east of the airport.
(For those of you who went on the summer 2015 trip, Croix des Bouquets is where the artist colony is at – the one we went to before going to the airport, with all the ironwork, paintings, and wood carvings.)
James started the Croix des Bouquets church in 2016 as a new “church plant” while he was just in his Junior year at the Preachers’ Training School. Since that time the church has quadrupled in membership, and James says his primary focus is on “evangelism, and sharing the gospel with the community of Croix des Bouquets.”
