A couple of questions I was asked recently are:
First of all, a little context for those of you not familiar…
I asked JT to weigh in on the two questions above, and here’s what I received back from him:
Greetings, in the midst of difficulties in Haiti we are doing relatively fine. I commend you for those two questions.
First of all, the teachers are from the churches of Christ here in Haiti, holding degrees in Bible and the disciplines they are teaching. We were blessed to have the brethren in the states who will send us teaching materials, and who also come teach at the school. We pray for volunteers to come and help us in this capacity.
We graduated 36 student four years ago and all of them are leading church work as pulpit ministers, teachers of the Bible, and missionaries. We see them performing what they have learned.
The students who graduate this December are going to expand Christianity all around the country. They are prepared and ready to go, we need to find a way to send them.
With love,
JT Elmera
