Thought some of you might be interested in this – I just got done filing the annual statements for The Haiti Fund required by the IRS and the SC Secretary of State – here’s how the 2025 financials broke down, as far as what percentage of our funding went to what costs:
So that’s a total of 97.5% that went directly to our mission projects.
The total for all administrative costs** was only 2.5%, which includes wire transfer fees***; website hosting and domain registration; PayPal credit card processing fees; annual filing fees with the SC Secretary of State’s Office; office supplies; printing; and postage.
* Funding earmarked by the donors for this specific purpose
** All administrative costs are paid for by Haiti Fund Board Members – none of it comes from your donations
*** Good news! In the past, wire transfer fees have been our biggest administrative expense, but we’ve recently found a way to eliminate those fees entirely – so as of 2026 those costs are now $0.00! 😊
All contributions to The Haiti Fund are used only for the purpose which the donor has earmarked them for.
